Oxford Solutions currently has a contract to hire opening with our engineering client for a GIS Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Gather, compile, migrate and convert data sets from a variety of internal and external sources
• Research, update and maintain numerous GIS datasets and templates
• Communicate with customer as needed to resolve data issues.
• Utilize tools provided to build deliverable import/export configurations.
• Generate reports as requested by internal or external customers.
• Track and report on the processing status for each customer.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, GIS or related technical discipline
• 3 to 5 years of GIS experience
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software suite, including ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related tools
• Familiarity with relational databases in Microsoft Access and ArcView.
• Ability to develop and automate processes through model builder and Python scripts
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Familiarity with the concepts and software of Asset Management Systems
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or AutoCAD Map
