Position Overview:

GEO Lab technician involves analyzing geological samples in a controlled laboratory environment.

Duties:

• Perform variety of test on soils using ASTM and TxDot methods
• Ensure all tests are perform accurately and in a timely manner
• Record test results neatly
• Maintain lab equipment (cleaning, calibrating, organizing)
• Communicate with lab manager regarding samples and testing
• Work well in a team environment
• Follow safety protocols
• Be able to lift materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail

Education/Qualifications:

College grad (not required)

High School Grad / GED equivalent
