Sticks and stones won’t break him, project management and rocks will make me! Hopefully, that brought a smile to your face, and you are tempted to read on for more details on the role.

This is a great opportunity for a Geotechnical engineer to make a move into a management role, or you may already be a manager who is looking for your next opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation. As a manager, you will be responsible for a small team of three and will be able to guide and develop them through their career.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a broad variety of tasks, so you will be able to multitask and prioritise your workload according to the business's demands. Communication skills are key as you will be dealing with stakeholders, site technicians, and customers.

What am I looking for:

* You will have experience in managing project performance and have a track record of increasing value through change as well as mitigating risk.

* Experience in managing a team as well as workloads of the team.

* You will be able to review the geotechnical results in order to ensure that the performance specification, as well as frequencies, are achieved on all projects.

* It is essential that you have experience with geotechnical projects

* Experience of attending client meetings

If you have a CSCS card, however, if this has expired, it's not a biggie as they are able to put you through the accreditation process for this. You will be required to travel to the site once a week, in your lovely company car; the rest of the time, you will be required to be on-site in order to guide and develop the team.

If you want more information on this role, please get in touch.

We welcome diverse applicants and are dedicated to treating all applicants with dignity and respect, regardless of background
