technical capability, client awareness and project delivery experience.The RoleAs Geotechnical Engineer, the successful candidate will support the delivery of geotechnical projects from initial site assessment through to investigation, reporting and technical recommendations.The role will include both office-based and site-based responsibilities, with regular involvement in ground investigation supervision, factual and interpretative reporting, ground model development and design support.Applicants should be comfortable working across multiple projects and communicating effectively with clients, contractors, laboratories and internal technical teams.Key Responsibilities: Ground Investigation and Site WorkAssist with the planning and delivery of ground investigation projectsSupervise site investigation works including trial pits, window sampling, cable percussion and rotary drillingLiaise with drilling crews, subcontractors, laboratories and project managersUndertake soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standardsPrepare accurate site records, field notes and investigation logsCoordinate laboratory testing schedulesMonitor site progress and report any technical or operational issuesEnsure site works are completed safely and in accordance with project requirementsTechnical ReportingPrepare factual and interpretative ground investigation reportsReview and interpret laboratory test resultsDevelop ground models and geotechnical parametersPrepare foundation recommendations and ground engineering adviceSupport slope stability, retaining wall, earthworks and pavement-related assessments where requiredPrepare clear technical conclusions and practical recommendationsEnsure reports are accurate, well-structured and commercially focusedWork in accordance with internal quality procedures and technical standardsProject DeliverySupport project managers with the delivery of geotechnical projectsAssist with project programming, resource planning and budget controlManage assigned project tasks to deadlinesMaintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholdersAssist with preparing proposals, scopes of work and tender informationCoordinate
