Geotechnical Engineer\n\nLocation: Derby\n\nReference: BY72481\n\nSalary: £28,000 - £35,000 \n\nAn expanding Environmental Consultancy in Derby are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a variety of specialist ground investigation projects around the Derbyshire area. With specialist training and plenty of new and exciting geotechnical and geo-environmental projects to work on, the position offers excellent career progression prosects.\n\nThe Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:\n\nA top salary (£28,000 - £35,000).\nCompany pension and benefits scheme.\nAnnual salary and progression reviews.\nContinued Professional Development and career opportunities.\nOpportunity to continue training and develop skills.\nInclusive, friendly, and supportive team of specialists to work with.The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:\n\nContributing to and carrying out site investigations.\nCarrying out contaminated land risk assessments and Phase 1 Desktop Studies.\nWriting and reviewing factual and interpretive reports.\nGroundwater and gas monitoring.\nLiaising closely with clients and supervising investigations.This Geotechnical Engineer role requires you to have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant. You must have a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or geotechnical engineering, hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence and live near Derby.
