Geotechnical Engineer\n\nJob Title: Geotechnical Engineer\n Location: Site-based (Projects across Birmingham to Liverpool)\n Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum\n Experience: 2-5 years\n Employment Type: Full-time\n\nOverview:\n\nWe're looking for a practical and motivated Geotechnical Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in ground investigation to join our growing team. This is a site-based role covering projects across the Midlands to the Northwest.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nGeotechnical logging of soils and rocks to British Standards (BS 5930).\nConducting in-situ testing, trial pitting, trenching, and borehole supervision.\nPhase 1 Desktop Studies and planning of site investigations.\nPreparation of both factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.\nCoordination of laboratory testing programmes and analysis of results.\nSite supervision and liaison with contractors, laboratories, and clients.\nRegular travel to sites with occasional overnight stays required.Requirements:\n\nDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar.\n2-5 years' experience in ground investigation or geotechnical site work.\nFull UK driving licence (essential).\nStrong communication and organisational skills.\nConfident working independently on active construction or investigation sites. \n\nPlease note: Currently, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
