Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Engineer - Manchester | Hybrid | £30k-£50k + Package\n\nA people-first consultancy where technical growth meets real-world impact. \nI'm representing a thriving independent consultancy that's building out their Manchester office and looking for a Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer to join the team. This is a firm that values good engineering, not just output - where engineers work together closely to solve problems and build lasting client relationships.
\nIf you're looking for a step up, more variety in your work, or simply a more supportive environment, this could be the right move. \nWhy join?\n\nA growing office with a well-established technical team behind it\nDiverse project work across sectors and scales\nHybrid working, with typically 2-3 days per week in a central Manchester office\nClear internal processes, mentoring, and structured progression\nYour ideas will be heard - and used\nYour role will involve:\n\nPlanning and interpreting ground investigations\nDesigning foundations, retaining structures and ground improvements\nContributing to geoenvironmental reporting and remediation strategy\nUsing tools like Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GEO5\nPreparing clear reports, drawings and design documentation\nCollaborating closely with project teams and supporting junior staff if applicable\nWhat's needed:\n\nCivil Engineering or Engineering Geology degree (postgrad a plus)\nGeotechnical/geoenvironmental experience in a consultancy environment\nWorking toward or already chartered with ICE, GeolSoc or equivalent\nComfortable managing your own workload and solving problems collaboratively\nPackage includes:\n\n£30,000-£50,000 salary depending on experience\nBenefits worth ~£2,500\nHybrid working and central office location\nFlexible, people-oriented work culture\n?
