A growing environmental consultancy is looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join its London team. This is a varied role combining practical site investigation with technical report writing, ideal for someone who enjoys having a balance between being out in the field and developing their technical knowledge in the office. You’ll work on a range of contaminated land, ground investigation and remediation projects. What you'll be doing * Undertake and assist with site investigations * Carry out environmental sampling and monitoring * Assess ground conditions and potential contamination * Interpret site and laboratory data * Prepare Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports * Support remediation and verification strategies * Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants * Contribute to projects from site investigation through to reporting and delivery What we're looking for * Relevant degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar * Previous geoenvironmental, contaminated land or ground investigation experience * Strong technical writing and reporting skills * Comfortable working on site and conducting fieldwork * Good analytical and communication skills * Full UK driving licence * Ambition to progress within the environmental sector Why consider the role? £30,000–£40,000 salary Hybrid working Great balance of site and office-based work Career progression Training and professional development Diverse and interesting projects Supportive working environment Competitive benefits If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same — combining site experience with technical reporting — apply today
