️ What You'll Be Doing
As a Geo Engineer, your scope will be excitingly broad. You’ll be trusted to:

Lead on-site investigations, including trial pitting, soak-away testing, borehole supervision, and capping verification
*
Supervise construction phases, from inspecting foundations to managing remediation of contaminated sites and mine workings
*
Compile and author detailed Phase 1 and 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental reports
*
Prepare coal mining risk assessments, earthworks strategies, and verification documentation
*
Advise on geotechnical parameters for foundations, slope stability, and other structural elements
*
Conduct detailed quantitative risk assessments and support safe, sustainable project design
*
Collaborate closely with clients, regulators, contractors, and internal engineering teams across multiple disciplines
This is not just a desk-bound role. It’s boots-on-the-ground engineering — combining fieldwork, data analysis, and meaningful consultancy.

*
Working towards professional accreditation (Geological Society, ICE, or equivalent)
