Service Technician – Generator Pros
Location: Cuyahoga County and West Medina County - Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: $25–$40/hr + Annual Bonuses
Benefits: Health Insurance, IRA, PTO
Schedule: Monday–Friday + On-Call Rotation (1 week/month)

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Service Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting ability. In this role, you will service, diagnose, and repair standby generators — primarily in residential settings (80%), along with some commercial (10%) and industrial (10%) work.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair generator systems and components (electrical & mechanical)

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on standby power equipment

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

Respond to service calls and troubleshoot on-site issues

Document work performed and maintain accurate service records

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Participate in on-call rotation (1 week per month for 24/7 emergency support)
Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on service experience (mechanical/electrical )

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot independently

Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics

Familiarity working with electrical and mechanical systems

Must have your own basic hand tools (annual $200 tool allowance provided)

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Generator service experience a plus, but not required — willing to train the right person
