Chamberlin Electric is growing again and seeking a Generator Field Service Technician to add to our team! Engine and electrical experience is preferred.

Generator Field Service Technician Responsibilities and Requirements: (including, but not limited to)

Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems air-cooled (Ranging from 7.5 kW -26 kW) liquid-cooled (Ranging from 22kW - 150 kW) liquid cooled gaseous and diesel

Troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, load-bank testing, and start-ups on generators

Preparing accurate quotes for repairs and completing/submitting work orders

Previous experience working on residential home stand-by generators and portable generators

Exceptional communication and customer service skills

Must provide your basic tools (company will help provide additional needed tools)

Valid Driver’s License

Must pass a background check

Maintain spare parts inventory on truck (company supplied)

Keep service vehicle clean and neat

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22 - $32 per hour (depending on experience)
