Job DescriptionLocation: DaventryJob Type: Temporary to PermanentHours: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm – 2:15amPay Rate: £15.49 per hourJob OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a precision engineering and manufacturing environment in Daventry. The successful candidate will have previous experience within manufacturing or engineering and be confident working with industrial machinery.The role will involve supporting milling and turning operations, along with a range of general machine operative duties. Previous experience working with precision engineering machinery would be highly advantageous. Knowledge or experience of RoboDrill machinery would also be beneficial.Full training will be provided, and previous machine-setting experience is not required.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating machinery as part of the milling and turning processesCarrying out general machine operative dutiesLoading and unloading components from machineryMonitoring machinery during productionFollowing production instructions and processes accuratelyCarrying out visual and quality checksMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentWorking in line with company health and safety proceduresCandidate RequirementsPrevious experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essentialExperience working with precision engineering machinery is highly desirablePrevious experience in milling or turning would be advantageousKnowledge of RoboDrill machinery would be beneficialGood understanding of working safely around industrial machineryStrong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructionsReliable and consistent approach to workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamNo previous machine-setting experience is requiredFull training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is competent in the specific machinery and processes used within the business.This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering long-term employment for the right candidate.TPBN1_UKTJ
