The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a full-time General Mechanic/HVAC and Refrigeration to join our team in support of our facilities. This individual is responsible for maintaining, repairing and monitoring the conditions of all club facilities with a specific emphasis on maintaining, repairing, monitoring and installing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. This position has leadership track opportunities.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Maintain buildings for proper function, appearance and safety.
• Perform light carpentry.
• Paint, stain and clean where needed.
• Make minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Install equipment such as paper towel dispensers, dry erase boards, paintings.
• Order materials and equipment necessary for repairs
• Schedule work with various contractors
• Replace broken and stained ceiling tiles.
• Make minor roof repairs when necessary.
• Change fluorescent, incandescent and LED lamps.
• Install lighting and speakers in awnings and remove at end of season.
• Move equipment, furniture and materials.
• Hang banners

The successful candidate will have/be:

• 5 years of commercial HVAC experience required
• Universal CFC Certification is required
• Must have proven handyman skills and have ability to quickly learn maintenance tasks
• Weekend and on call work will be required
• Team player; willing to assist where needed
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Ability to work under stress
