The Opportunity
The General Manager / Integrator is the owner's operational counterpart - responsible for aligning people, process, and performance. You'll oversee construction operations, financial health, and organizational planning, ensuring that the company runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, clarity, and results - the kind of leader who keeps the trains running on time while still inspiring a team to raise the bar every day.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations - oversee all construction, estimating, scheduling, and administrative activities with a focus on excellence and accountability.
- Turn plans into action - take company goals and translate them into measurable objectives and operating systems that get results.
- Manage performance - maintain visibility into budgets, schedules, and team productivity; identify risks early and keep projects on track.
- Align teams - ensure estimating, design, production, and field operations work together under a unified plan.
- Build process - refine and standardize procedures for pre-construction, handoffs, job site management, and client updates.
- Develop people - mentor project managers, superintendents, and staff to think critically, plan proactively, and lead confidently.
- Oversee financials - manage company P&L, job cost reports, cash flow, and forecasting; partner with ownership on strategic growth.
- Model professionalism - bring steady leadership, emotional control, and clear communication to every meeting and job site.
What You Bring
- 8-10+ years of leadership in residential construction, ideally within a design-build or custom home environment.
- Strong background in construction operations, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Proven success building and managing teams with accountability and clarity.
- Financial acumen - confident reading reports, tracking KPIs, and improving margins.
- Calm, pragmatic leadership style - professional under pressure, solutions-focused, and emotionally steady.
- Track record of implementing systems and processes that improve efficiency and communication.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field .
