The Vallejo Company is a growing company adding new members to our team. Vallejo serves as a construction company to the Ohio area servicing in gas, water/sewer, concrete/asphalt and boring.

General Operator Responsibilities:

Exact duties can depend on a heavy equipment operator's specialization. Some common responsibilities include:

• Operateheavy equipmentin compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
• Ability to operate equipment for mainline gas and gas service connections
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
• Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow, and indicate low spots for workers to add material.
  
  

Core Skillsets:

- CDL Class A is not required but HEAVILY encouraged

- Knowledge of gas line work (If you have required OQ's please let us know)

- Ability to meet the physical requirements to properly operate heavy machinery.
