Job Description

We’re partnered with a global leader in intelligent automation and manufacturing technology, hiring a full-time GCP Cloud Engineer to join their Atlanta-based engineering organization. This hybrid position (2 days onsite per week) offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and automation systems that power large-scale, data-driven operations worldwide

As part of a high-impact cloud team, you’ll play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and scaling GCP-based solutions that support complex, real-time manufacturing environments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of cloud architecture, DevOps, and automation!

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.)

  • Solid background in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)

  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring best practices in cloud environments

  • 3+ years of relevant cloud engineering or DevOps experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, build, and manage scalable GCP infrastructure supporting automated manufacturing systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with IoT and on-prem systems

  • Enhance system performance, reliability, and observability through automation and monitoring

  • Implement security, networking, and compliance best practices across environments
