This position is based in Denver Colorado 80223 on a hybrid (in office Tue Wed and Thu) work schedule. This position can be hired at the Senior Staff or Entry level depending on overall experience and qualifications and interview results.

Position Summary – Senior Level

Salary Range $94,000 - $126,134 plus 10% annual incentive plan

Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Performs as a staff advisor and consultant in a technical specialty, a type of facility or equipment or a program function. Carries out complex or innovative assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. Work is expected to result in the development of new / improved techniques and procedures or new / refined equipment, materials, processes, products and / or scientific methods. Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects and interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Work is performed without appreciable direction and considerable latitude is exercised in determining technical objectives of assignment. Guidance relates largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts and policy matters. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results. May assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians, craft personnel and administrative staff, including coordination and review of work assignments. Responsible for (and may lead) multiple projects of moderate to large size or portions of major projects.

Essential Responsibilities

Applies extensive technical expertise and understands basic principles of related disciplines; leads projects of moderate to large size, scope, and complexity.

Largely self-directed work, development of new or improved techniques, procedures and standards; supports the development of technical documentation (designs, testing calculations, reports, standards, etc.).

Provides field engineering oversight and direction for activities such as support, testing, installation, inspections, commissioning, etc.; coordinates and leads multiple projects or portions of projects.

Represents the organization as the prime technical contact in bid/evaluation processes, including preparation of bid documents, technical evaluations for proposals, and recommendations for selection; interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters.

Resolves difficult technical / business matters with internal and external stakeholders; may direct engineers, technicians, craft personnel and other staff; mentors less experienced engineers.

Leads activities such as budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and work order management in support of engineering projects.

Minimum Requirements – Senior Level

Bachelors Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).

5 years relevant engineering experience with EIT / FE required or 7 years without EIT / FE.

Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level; PE certification may be required depending on business need.

Position Summary – Staff Level

Salary Range $79,800 - 103,666 plus 8% annual incentive plan

Under general direction demonstrates complete understanding and wide application of engineering principles in the field. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions, with guidance on complex problems. May lead small to medium non-critical projects and may provide work direction to other professionals and staff. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues on specific projects; frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contact.

Essential Responsibilities

Uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to perform activities that may include complex features and difficult coordination requirements.

Supports the development of technical documentation and may assist with the development of procedures; broad knowledge of a specialty area and related disciplines.

Works under general direction for routine projects; provides ongoing technical support for project activities; may provide field engineering oversight & direction for commissioning, testing, inspections, etc.

Leads small to medium non-critical projects; coordinates or leads critical projects under direction; work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Supports bid/evaluation processes including preparation of bid documents and technical evaluations; communicates with multiple areas following appropriate processes.

Mentors less experienced engineers and interns; responsible for continuous self-development of technical skills.

Performs budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and work order management in support of engineering projects.

Minimum Requirements – Staff Level

Bachelors degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).

2 years relevant engineering experience with strong knowledge of specialty area; EIT / FE strongly .

Gas transmission integrity or similar work experience .

Position Summary – Entry Level

Salary Range $68,300 - 86,500 plus 8% annual incentive plan

This is an entry level position designed to develop technical expertise in a particular area of specialty. Performs work involving conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures or equipment with relatively few complex features; activities are of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in the specific narrow area of assignments. May lead small to medium non-critical projects and/or provide field oversight of critical projects under direction of higher-level engineer or supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities

Applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to perform activities of limited scope.

Supports the development of technical documentation (designs, testing calculations, reports, standards, etc.); may assist with procedures.

Provides ongoing technical support for project activities and may provide field engineering oversight under direct supervision.

Coordinates or leads projects or portions of projects under the direction of a higher-level engineer or supervisor.

Supports bid/evaluation processes by performing basic analysis and communicating with other areas as needed.

May coordinate work of interns, drafters, technicians and others; mentorship to less experienced engineers.

May perform budgeting, estimating, forecasting and accounting work order management in support of projects.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).

0 years relevant engineering experience; EIT/FE .

Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level as documented by the organization.

Qualifications: Gas transmission integrity or similar work experience.
