Job Description

E1 is partnering with a leading energy trading company looking for an experienced Gas Trader to join their high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of European gas markets, taking ownership of trading strategies and driving P&L impact.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and interpreting European gas markets and LNG flows
• Executing trades and managing client flow
• Analysing market trends, fundamentals, and regulatory changes
• Working closely with senior traders, analysts, and risk teams
• Contributing to portfolio optimisation and P&L targets

Experience required:

• 5+ years’ experience trading European gas markets
• Strong track record in market engagement & commercial impact
• Experience with client flow or market making
• Strong analytical and numerical skills (Python/SQL/Excel a plus)

Location: West London
