At Buy It Direct, we are seeking a professional, customer-focused Gas Registered Engineer/Installer to join our ‘Driven’ installation team based out of Luton.\n\nYou will be responsible for delivering, installing, and testing domestic appliances (including gas appliances), HVAC products, and furniture in customers’ homes across the Southern region.\n\nThis is a customer-facing role in which you will be the sole in-home representative of Buy It Direct, so delivering a high standard of service is essential.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCheck vehicle, load, and planned route before departure\nDrive safely and efficiently (monitored via vehicle telematics)\nDeliver, install, and test appliances in line with company workflows\nInstall gas appliances in compliance with Gas Safe regulations\nUninstall and remove old appliances, packaging, and returns\nEnsure all tracking and job information is accurately captured\nProvide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction\n\nPerformance Measures\n\nYou will be measured against key service and operational criteria:\nSuccessful delivery and installation\nTime taken to complete deliveries and installs\nCustomer advocacy and satisfaction\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nGas Safe Registered (essential for installing gas appliances)\nCKR1 (essential) HTR1 (ideal)\nPrevious experience installing white goods/kitchen appliances\nFull UK Driving Licence (max 6 points, no serious offences)\nStrong communication and customer service skills\nAbility to work from plans and detailed instructions\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary with realistic uncapped bonus earning potential\nCompany van (not for personal use), fuel, and tools provided\nStructured routes and consistent workload\nOngoing training and development\nStable, long-term opportunity with a growing business\n\nIf you are a qualified, gas-registered white goods installer who takes pride in your work and delivering a great customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nREF-(Apply online only)
