Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer\n\nLocation: DE/NG\nSector: Social Housing / Housing Association\nPosition: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer\n\nExample Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Coventry & Leicester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)\n\n * Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems\n\n * Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care\n\n * Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records\n\nRequirements:\n\n * A minimum of 2 years’ experience with gas qualifications\n\n * Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills\n\n * In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment)\n\nSalary & Benefits:\n\n * 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)\n\n * Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates\n\n * Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided\n\n * Salary: £40,000 per year\n\n * Out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in 4)\n\n * OTE £50,000+ per annum\n\n * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\n * Pension scheme\n\nTo apply for this role, please submit an up-to-date CV, and one of our team members will be in touch.\n\nKeywords: Gas, Heating, Engineer, Service, Maintenance, Repair, Breakdown
