Gas Engineer

We are looking for a Gas Engineer to work within social housing properties in Cannock, primarily on kitchen and bathroom projects, with some travel required to support other contracts.

The Gas Engineer will receive:

Van and fuel card supplied

23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Opportunity for a permanent role after 12 weeks

Requirement to join an out-of-hours rota (1 in 4 weeks, covering gas and plumbing callouts, approx. 2-5 per week)

The Gas Engineer will be expected to complete:

Boiler installations, isolations, gas pipe alterations, reconnecting appliances, capping off and inspections

Servicing, fitting parts, meter moves and fault finding

Gas flues for roof replacements

Enabling works for decarbonisation projects (extending flues and gas pipes, isolation and recommissioning)

Domestic gas testing and certification of all works

Working in both occupied and void properties

Managing workload independently from job tickets or handheld devices

We are really keen to speak to any Gas Engineer who has :

Experience in social housing and planned maintenance

ACS, CKR1, CCN1, CENWAT/CEN1, HTR1 & CPA1 certifications

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to undertake a DBS check
