Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operatingwithin the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the Newportareacarrying out servicing and repairs within domestic social housing properties on the POBL Housing Association contract.

Duties:

Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)

Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.

Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis.

Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years.

Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.

In-date ACS qualifications including CKR1 & HTR1

Full UK Driving Licence

No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Salary & Package:

42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Overtime paid at time and a half door to door

Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates

Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.

Salary:£40,000 per annum

Monthly bonus up to £200.00

Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4 paid at £600.00 for the week guaranteeing an additional £7,800 on top of base salary

OTE £50,000+ per annum

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
