Role Description\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Contract Domestic Gas Quality Control Auditor to cover Croydon 5 days per week (Monday - Friday)\n\nThis role will entail quality control inspections being undertaken on a variety of works carried out for social housing providers.\n\nService\n\n * Turn up and ask tenant if engineer showed his ID / gas Safe Card\n\n * Was the engineer polite and well presented?\n\n * Did the engineer leave a copy LGSR?\n\n * Check boiler and do a Gas rate and FGA on max to check readings are the same\n\n * Visual Check PRV termination , condensate , room thermostat\n\nInstall\n\n * Same as above but also check radiators if installed & TRVs\n\n * Is pipework clipped?\n\n * Tightness test only id deemed necessary\n\nBreakdown\n\n * i.e engineer fitted a pump - did he/she actually fit a pump?\n\nQualifications and Skills\n\nThe ideal candidate will possess:\n\n * A full suite of ACS qualifications. As a minimum: CCN1, CENWAT (CEN1, WAT1), HTR1, CKR1 and CPA1\n\n * Detailed knowledge of gas appliances and central heating systems supplemented by a thorough understanding of Normative Documents especially the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998\n\n * Good communication skills\n\n * Full driving licence\n\nThe ideal candidate will have some previous experience in auditing/ inspecting jobs OR great experience across all aspects of gas within Social Housing, availability 5 days per week (Monday- Friday) and their own van and tools as well as up to date documents e.g. ACS, Calibration, Public Liability Insurance etc.\n\nJob Type: Contract (self employed)\n\nPay: per completed job, paid 1 week in arrears\n\nExperience:\n\n * Heating: 5 years (required)\n\n * Social Housing: 2 years (required)\n\n * Auditing/ Inspecting: 1 year ()\n\nLicence/Certification:\n\n * ACS (required)\n\n * Driving Licence (required)\n\nWork Location: On the road\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nWork Location: On the road
