Garage Equipment Installation Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with skills in installation, maintenance, or industrial systems? Do you want to work on a wide variety of projects across the UK, installing state-of-the-art garage and workshop equipment?



Straightset, a garage equipment suppliers, is looking for skilled Equipment Installation Engineers to join our nationwide team.



The Role



You’ll be part of a professional installation team, working on projects across the UK in both new and existing motor vehicle workshops.



Key responsibilities include:

Installing a wide range of garage equipment including vehicle lifts, brake testers, oil dispensing systems, exhaust extraction systems, and compressed air solutions.

Carrying out diagnostics and repairs on installed equipment.



*



Commissioning and testing equipment to industry standards.



*



Completing and submitting accurate project documentation.



*



Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation.



About You



We’re looking for engineers with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Pipe fitting (compressed air, oil, water, gas)



*



Industrial heating or plant installation/maintenance



*



Hydraulics and electrical systems



*



Exhaust extraction and compressor systems



*



Site work and equipment installation



Essential requirements:



*



CSCS card (or equivalent)



*



Full, clean driving licence



*



Willingness to travel with overnight stays (expenses covered)



*



Strong team player with the ability to work independently



*



Good communication and problem-solving skills
