Now Hiring: Full-Time Oil Burner / Heating Service Technician
Location: Stoneham, MA

Stoneham Fuel is a family-owned and operated, full-service heating company proudly serving Middlesex County for nearly 50 years. We take pride in providing exceptional service and reliable comfort to our clients — and we're growing! We're looking for a skilled, dependable Oil Burner & Heating Service Technician to join our team.

Position Details

Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30–$42/hour (based on experience, knowledge, and certifications)
Bonuses: Performance-based opportunities for additional earnings

Requirements

• MA Oil Burner Certificate

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service boiler systems, burners, and piping equipment

• Conduct cleanings, safety inspections, and routine maintenance

• Adjust and calibrate controls to ensure efficiency and safety

• Assist with installation and startup of new systems

• Keep accurate service and repair logs

• Communicate effectively with customers and promote energy efficiency

• Participate in on-call rotation and overtime during busy or cold-weather seasons

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• On-call rotation and weekend availability during peak seasons
