We are looking for a full-time Accountant & Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have experience in construction or trades setting, and be ready to take ownership of our accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and job costing
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Support budgeting and financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field relevant experience
- Strong understanding of construction accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other packages .
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
