Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include
You help implement and support infrastructure that enables AI model inference, working under the guidance of senior engineers. You contribute to production AI services and applications, including retrieval augmented and autonomous agent workflows. You assist with building and maintaining monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services to ensure visibility and reliability. You support automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code practices. You help maintain availability, performance, and reliability across AI platform components. You follow established security best practices for AI systems and data. You collaborate with cross-functional teams while learning to define structured solutions in ambiguous problem spaces.

Minimum Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. .

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree. Three years of experience contributing to production software systems supporting programs of similar scope and complexity.

Required Skills
Experience contributing to production-grade systems. Familiarity with high-volume web application architectures. Exposure to cloud engineering environments, preferably AWS. Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and containerized deployments. Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. Ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate clearly within a collaborative engineering team.

Desired Skills
Exposure to AI inference serving technologies such as vLLM or LiteLLM. Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangChain. Awareness of vector databases and embedding systems. Interest in distributed systems or performance engineering.

Technology Stack
This role works across modern AI and platform technologies including Python-based services, Kubernetes and containerized deployments, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tooling, AI inference platforms, retrieval augmented systems, agentic frameworks, monitoring and observability tooling, and scalable web service architectures supporting enterprise AI ecosystems.

Compensation Range: $127,000.00 - $167,000.00 
*The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
