Summary

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Software Development Engineer, with experience developing mobile, desktop, and web applications, to join our software engineering team. This individual will develop and maintain robust applications and tools, to support the development of setup utilities, data monitoring applications, industrial battery chargers, engine starting systems, and DC back-up power systems across a wide power range (150W to 100kW+).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications across various platforms (mobile, desktop, and web applications).
  • Create intuitive user interfaces providing seamless customer experiences.
  • Design, build, and maintain database schemas, queries, and migrations.
  • Test, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to product architecture and software component design with an emphasis on code and DLL commonization and reuse.
  • Serve as a technical expert and a product expert for the team with in-depth knowledge of the SENS hardware products, their integration with SENS software, and how the end customer will interact with them.
  • Participate in the full life cycle of product development including requirement definition, project planning, design, implementation, test, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a similar related field with 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Mastery of computer programming, web frameworks, and IoT protocols including ASP.net, C#, Blazor, MQTT, and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in the setup, formatting, and querying of databases.
  • Experience creating, running, and deploying containerized applications (Docker).
  • Deadline driven individual with an emphasis on releasing application features to the end customer.
  • In-depth experience working in an Agile, Product Management, and DevOps software environment.
  • Flexible team player who actively establishes and maintains effective working relationships and who is willing to multi-task and help wherever needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience working with and interacting with embedded hardware or IoT devices.
  • Experience with embedded software for IoT.

Location: This position is located on-site in Longmont, CO with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule once fully trained.

Base Compensation: $145,000 - $185,000 is the projected range of annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.
