Full-Stack Engineer – AI Infrastructure
Full-time | Hybrid | San Francisco, CA
Salary: $160K – $250K

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to help build and scale the infrastructure for a rapidly growing AI platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-performance systems powering thousands of concurrent AI agents, with an emphasis on low-latency communications, multi-region fault tolerance, and large-scale deployments.

About the Role

• Keep thousands of concurrent AI agents operating with minimal latency.

• Architect and maintain a fault-tolerant, multi-region infrastructure.

• Build scalable systems that can efficiently auto-scale AI deployments.

• Automate testing, monitoring, and reliability improvements.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to advance AI-driven communication technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.

• Write code to automate operational tasks, build internal tools, and improve system resilience.

• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, latency, and availability.

• Implement best practices for reliability, observability, and DevOps workflows.

• Manage incidents, conduct post-mortems, and drive continuous improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–10 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development (60–70% backend, 30–40% frontend).

• Strong coding skills in Go.

• Experience building and scaling backend systems from scratch.

• Deep understanding of backend systems, APIs, and databases.

• Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript).

• Passion for AI-driven technologies.

• Founder mindset: ownership, independence, and relentless drive.

Work Environment

• Hybrid role based in San Francisco.

• In-office presence expected 2–3 days per week, with remote flexibility on other days.
