About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Data Engineer to support the automation of reporting by building scalable data pipelines into origination systems. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, software engineering, and analytics enablement, with a primary focus on enabling reliable, well-modeled origination data for downstream reporting and analytics.

The successful candidate will be delivery-oriented and comfortable owning data products end-to-end from ingestion and transformation through curated datasets and reporting consumption. You will work within a globally distributed agile team and contribute to a modern data ecosystem designed for scale, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform origination data for reporting and analytics.

Develop and evolve database schemas and data models optimized for reporting automation and downstream consumption.

Deliver curated datasets and semantic layers that support consistent business reporting.

Integrate data pipelines with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Sigma or similar BI platforms).

Continuously improve existing pipelines and data structures with a focus on data quality, performance, and reliability.

Apply strong software engineering practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Partner with data consumers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Support production data pipelines and take ownership of delivery outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or full stack data development roles.

Strong hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments.

Solid experience designing database schemas and data models for reporting and analytics use cases.

Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.

Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (Azure ) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake ).

Ability to work across the full data lifecycle from ingestion through reporting enablement.

Strong delivery ownership and ability to operate in fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed teams.

Qualifications :

Experience supporting reporting or BI platforms (Sigma experience helpful but not required).

Familiarity with financial services, origination, or investment data domains.

Exposure to semantic modeling or analytics engineering concepts.

Experience building APIs or services to deliver data to downstream applications.

Experience with containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

**The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000**
