Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSnelling is recruiting for an experienced Fulfillment and Logistics Associate for a company in the Birmingham area-HWY 280. The Fulfillment & Logistics Specialist is responsible for carrying out daily fulfillment and logistical operations based on established processes and procedures as they relate to shipping, receiving, order picking and packing, and inventory.
The salary for this opening is $40,000-45,000 depending on experience. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30-3:30, occasionally some OT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF FULLFILLMENT AND LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE:
- Receiving and stock put away
- Pick and package orders for shipment or delivery
- Shipping/Receiving processes and best practices
- Windows, DMS, Worldship, Ship Manager, Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM, WASP, ERP/Business System SAP B1
- Equipment maintenance, warehouse cleanliness, 5S
- Basic math, inventory investigation
- Interpersonal communication methods via face to face, email, phone, fax, and voicemail
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting
- Product/technical knowledge, basic business insight
- Detail oriented, multi-tasking, organization, prioritization
- Forklift basics and training
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF FULLFILLMENT AND LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE:
- Minimum High School Diploma
2 years warehouse experience - Valid Driver’s License and good driving record (must be insurable)
- Excellent communication, ability to multi-task, positive attitude and organizational skills are required. Demonstrates innovative thinking and sound judgment.
