Harper Fueling Solutions LLC is looking for an experienced Fueling Equipment Service Technician based in North Texas.
***Must have prior experience or certification on Gilbarco and/or Wayne gas dispenser equipment***
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A Fueling Equipment Service Technician will perform troubleshooting,
- maintenance & repair on fueling system components at various customer gas stations – both public retail stations and private fleet fuel islands.
- The technician will then summarize and clearly communicate their time, activities and materials used for billing and regulatory record keeping purposes.
- Typical fuel system components include, but are not limited to: Fuel dispensers, Pumps, Controllers, Point of Sale (POS) systems, Printers, Fuel Management Systems, Tanks and Tank hardware, Filters
- Tank level monitors, Leak detection equipment, Valves, Piping and Fluid conveying systems, Meters & Registers, and other electro/mechanical equipment as needed.
- On occasion, assist customers with fuel station equipment upgrades, construction, retrofits and decommissioning.
CRITICAL JOB TASKS:
- Safety Always: Continue a safety always culture, to include contributing to company safety meetings, site toolbox talks and other training. Every day operate within OSHA standards plus company and customer site safety rules.
- Fix It Right The First Time: bring a reliability mindset by effective and efficient troubleshooting that ultimately results in a repair that solves the customer’s problem for the long term, not just right now.
- Routinely Do Routine Things: conduct site inspections, both customer directed, and government mandated. Complete records and reports as required in a timely manner. Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and administrators. Carry out assignments and instructions from supervisor(s) in a competent and efficient manner. Account and inventory supplies, materials, and equipment as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of related experience and/or training in petroleum service repair, installation and support preferred. Honorable military service is a plus.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Hard skills: Immediate level MS Office skills, email, document scanning and ability to navigate customer service work order web portals. Basic level reading of technical manuals, engineering drawing, bills of materials and equipment shipping documents.
- Soft Skills: Able to multi-task, able to work independently as well as with a team, good oral and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills.
- Able to work Monday-Friday and available to work on a rotating on-call basis for after-hours, holiday and weekend customer service calls. Work remotely with a service truck anywhere in North Texas. On occasion travel to customer sites located in Oklahoma, East Texas, Central Texas and Northern Louisiana.
- Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, equipment, and supplies. Also includes prolonged sitting, bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Possess a valid US driver’s license.
