Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Freight & Logistics Specialist to oversee the movement of goods, ensure accurate tracking, and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and customers. This position plays a key role in coordinating freight, resolving shipping issues, and keeping our inventory and ERP systems accurate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic freight shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
• File and manage freight damage claims with carriers to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and update shipment records in ERP and ensure proper documentation.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and purchasing team to arrange timely deliveries.
• Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expense.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies related to shipping.
• Provide logistics support to sales and service teams to meet customer needs.
• Deliver excellent customer service through clear and timely communication on orders and shipments.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in freight, shipping, logistics, or import processes (customs, documentation, working with freight forwarders).
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with vendors, carriers, and customers.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving shipping issues.
