Rate: £26.00 - £30.00 per hour

Peace Recruitment are seeking an experienced and highly organised Freelance Site Manager to oversee a prestigious high-end residential development in Edinburgh. This is a long-term opportunity to lead the on-site delivery of an extremely detailed project with a focus on quality craftsmanship, luxury finishes, and exceptional build standards.

About the Role:

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining quality control, and keeping the project on schedule and budget. You'll be working closely with the client, architect, and wider professional team to ensure the vision is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all site activities and trades
• Ensure works are delivered to the highest quality and in line with architectural details
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the client team
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment (H&S management)
• Monitor project timelines and report progress regularly
• Manage site documentation, deliveries, and snagging processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing high-end residential projects
• Strong eye for detail and finish
• SMSTS, First Aid, and up-to-date CSCS card
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications
• References from previous similar projects

Desirable:

• Joinery or a trade background is a plus
