Job Description
Freelance Senior/ Quantity Surveyor \nWest Midlands\nConstruction \nRate: £450- £550 per day outside of IR35\n\nThe company:\nOur client is a dynamic Main Contractor specialising across a multitude of sectors including, Commercial, Retail, Industrial and Education projects across the Midlands with projects typically ranging between £20m to £100m in contract values. \n\nThey are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior/ Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Main Contracting to assist their commercial team through the below project. \n\nThe role:\nThe client is looking for a Freelance Senior/ Quantity surveyor to join a £80 million contract, working on the construction of a brand-new shopping centre within the West Midlands area.
The project is expected to last at least 24 months and commences at the beginning of January 2026. \n\nKey responsibilities:\n•\tCompleting monthly \tCVRs on site to ensure the project is on track.\n•\tTravelling to site 4 days a week to track progress and working 1 day from home.\n•\tDealing with variations quickly and effectively to stay within budget.\n\nCriteria:\n•\tExperience working as a Senior/ Quantity Surveyor on retail projects. (Essential)\n•\tFull UK driving license.
