Job Description

Freelance Senior Project Manager – Liverpool (North West)

Liverpool (on-site 3 days per week)

12–18 month Contract - Freelance / Inside IR35

£450-£600 per day - depending on suitability/ experience

About the Role:

• A leading Construction and Property Consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (SPM) to support the delivery of a Train Station Redevelopment, working as a subcontractor to another large Consultancy and Contractor in the Infrastructure / Construction sector.
• This is a high-profile infrastructure scheme with significant impact on regional connectivity and urban regeneration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee project delivery in line with NEC contract requirements
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders
• Ensure programme, cost, and quality objectives are achieved
• Manage risk, change control, and reporting processes
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure successful project outcomes

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering projects under NEC contracts
• Strong track record in rail and road infrastructure
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and contractors

Role Details:

• Based in the North West, with 3 days per week on site in Liverpool
• 12 – 18 month freelance contract
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary consultancy team
