Job Title: Freelance Security Installation Engineer (with AV experience)\n\nLocation: London & Surrounding Areas\n\nDay Rate: Negotiable (Freelance/Contract Basis)\n\nAbout the Role:\n On behalf of our client, a provider of security and AV solutions, we are seeking experienced Freelance Security Installation Engineers to support ongoing projects across London. The role is security-focused (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms) with occasional AV installation work.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for skilled engineers looking for flexible freelance assignments with a competitive, negotiable day rate.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nInstall, commission, and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems\n\nProvide system testing, fault-finding, and ongoing support\n\nInstall and integrate AV systems where required (displays, projectors, speakers, etc.)\n\nEnsure all work meets health & safety and compliance standards\n\nDeliver a professional service on-site, representing our client to a high standard\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven track record in security system installation and commissioning\n\nWorking knowledge of AV installations desirable\n\nOwn tools, transport, and PPE essential\n\nRelevant industry certifications (ECS/CSCS, IPAF, manufacturer training) \n\nAbility to work independently and manage workload effectively\n\nStrong communication and customer-facing skills\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\nFreelance assignments across London with flexible scheduling\n\nPotential for ongoing and repeat projects with our client
