Job Title: Freelance Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Stamford, UK

Rate: £350 - £380 per day

Duration: 2 Months

Hours: 9 Hours per Day



We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical works on a commercial project in Stamford. This is a short-term contract with immediate start available.



Key Responsibilities:



Manage and coordinate all mechanical subcontractors on site, including Pipefitters, plumbers, AC Engineers, Ducting teams, BMS Integration teams

Oversee the commissioning of all mechanical systems.

Ensure works are delivered to specification, within budget, and on time.

Liaise with the client and main contractor to ensure smooth project delivery.

Attend site meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Review drawings and technical submittals, providing input and resolution to on-site challenges.

Requirements:



SMSTS certification (essential)

Strong technical background in mechanical building services

Previous experience on healthcare projects (beneficial but not essential)

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Proven experience delivering commercial mechanical installations

Day Rate: £350-£380 (CIS)
