Freelance - Environmental & Permitting Support Engineer

Works in the IPMT, reports to Lead Environmental Engineer.Main purpose of the role is to control the environmental & permit data stream, linking between team HSSE, PDT, Permitting team and Operations.Support on EIA.Interlink with environmental consultants/experts (noise, soil, excavation, dewatering) for measuring and monitoring programs in the field,Collecting data and preparation of reports to comply with regulatory and permit requirements. while working together with PDTs.Keep overview of the waste streams in the different areas during constructionVerification of permit requirements in the field and suggest control measuresExperience in project- or environmental managementAttestation as 'milieucoordinator' (Flanders) is a plusStrong planning and organizing abilityExperience with the permit process in BelgiumExposure to chemical sector is desired but not a requirement.Able to define and prioritize issues and then solve the problems through networking with other team members or external sourcesFluent Dutch communication skills6 months contractCompetitive rate and interesting challenge with exposure
