Frame Assembly Technician/Welder

Our client are a global leader in security scanning systems and currently experiencing high levels of growth. As such, they are seeking an additional Frame Assembly Technician/Welder to join their production team

The Role:

This role involves the precise assembly and TIG welding of components with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Assembly and fabrication of large X-ray tubes, involving all aspects of the welding process

*

Ensure compliance with safety standards (HSE, COSHH, compressed gases).

*

Maintain a contamination-free cleanroom environment.

*

Support manufacturing engineers with process improvements.

*

Contribute to the development of work instructions and checklists.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

Extensive cleanroom and TIG welding experience.

*

Strong attention to detail and clean assembly practices.

*

Ability to coach and develop new welders.

*

Independent, disciplined, and proactive work approach.

*

Knowledge of compressed gas handling.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern:

* Initial training: Day shift (Monday–Friday)

* Post-training: Alternating Early/Late Shifts

* Early: Mon–Thu 06:00–14:00, Fri 06:00–13:30

* Late: Mon–Thu 14:00–22:00, Fri 13:30–21:00

* Shift Premium: 20% for rotating shifts
