FPSO Topsides Rotating Engineer Services

We are looking for a FPSO Topsides Rotating Engineer Services for one of our clients with the following details:

Duration: 1-4 years renewable

Location: Paris, France / Singapore / Geoje, South Korea

Required Experience & Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering or inspection.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on FPSO or similar Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience in detailed engineering and design reviews.
• Experience reviewing rotating equipment vendor packages.
• Experience with vendor coordination and technical interfaces.
• Experience participating in FATs.
• Experience with technical bid evaluations.
• Good knowledge of API, ISO, ASME and international standards.
• Experience supporting commissioning/pre-commissioning, system completion and punch-list clearance.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent English.

Activities:

• The FPSO Topside Rotating Engineer will support the FPSO Lead Rotating Engineer in ensuring the technical integration, engineering, procurement, vendor coordination, commissioning, and operational readiness of rotating equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
• The role will focus on rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors and turbines, ensuring compliance with project specifications, company requirements, and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the FPSO Lead Rotating Engineer in the technical and operational integration of rotating equipment.
• Review detailed engineering documentation for pumps, compressors, turbines and other rotating machinery.
• Review and comment on vendor engineering documents and equipment packages.
• Ensure compliance with applicable API, ISO, ASME and project/company standards.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between rotating equipment and Process, HVAC, Electrical, Safety and other disciplines.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and follow up on technical queries, deviations and vendor actions.
• Support technical bid evaluations, supplier qualification and vendor selection.
• Participate in equipment evaluations including emissions comparison and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Monitor equipment preservation and verify inspection conditions.
• Review Inspection Test Records (ITRs), punch lists and NCRs.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Verify equipment installation, alignment and readiness for operational handover.
• Participate in HAZOPs, technical audits and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Support risk assessments and change management activities.
• Assist with project schedule development and monitor progress against milestones.
• Contribute to weekly project reporting covering engineering progress, procurement status and manpower mobilization.
• Ensure activities are performed in accordance with applicable HSE requirements and company safety rules.
