FPSO Technical Safety

We are looking for a FPSO Technical Safety for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date: ASAP

Location: Between 1 to 2 years in Paris - France, up to 18 months in Singapore followed by 18 months in South Korea.

Status: Residential

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 8 years of experience specialized in Safety / HSE Design within oil and gas projects, with prior experience in FPSOs.
• Fluent in English, French is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Candidate shall show proactive behaviour, anticipation and rigor.

Job description:

• Assist Technical Safety Led to coordinate the Safety Engineering scope and deliverables of the project during the detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Reporting to the FPSO Technical Safety Lead, the job holder is responsible for providing guidance and technical support to the Engineering Contractor on all aspects of FPSO Safety Engineering.
• Ensure that, for the safety discipline and during the detailed engineering phase, the SOR, Basic Engineering documents, Project Specifications and Procedures, as well as applicable international codes and standards, are properly implemented and complied with for the design and construction of the FPSO.
• Perimeter: Topsides and Hull.
• Detailed Design Review
• Safety Studies and Audits
• Risk Assessment
• Technical Queries
• Design Safety Integration
• Interfaces Between Disciplines
• Discipline Meetings, Package / Project meetings and reviews
