Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, technical, and analytical FP&A Program Manager to lead financial planning and reporting across our clinical practices and research institute. This role blends deep financial expertise (70%) with hands-on analytics and dashboard development (30%) to drive data-informed decisions across healthcare operations and research programs.

Title: FP&A Program Manager
Compensation: $120,000-$160,000 per year, depending on experience
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Location: Chandler, AZ (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, On-site)
Reports to: Director of Finance

FP&A Leadership (70%)

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across clinical and research divisions.
  • Partner with department heads to analyze cost structures, revenue streams, and funding models.
  • Develop scenario models to assess regulatory changes, revenue streams, and patient volume shifts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and research grant requirements.

Analytics & Dashboarding (30%)

  • Build and maintain dynamic dashboards in Power BI to visualize KPIs, financial trends, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and semantic models.
  • Integrate FutureView platform outputs into Power BI for seamless reporting and stakeholder access.
  • Apply advanced Excel techniques (Power Query, pivot tables, macros) for ad hoc analysis and data manipulation.

Knowledge/skills/abilities required

  • FutureView FP&A platform experience
  • Advanced Excel (Power Query, modeling, automation)
  • Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard design)
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner, Oracle, SAP)

Education, credentials, and/or trainings required or

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Master's Degree / MBA
  • 8+ years in FP&A, preferably in healthcare, technology, or research settings.
  • Understanding of clinical operations
  • Proven ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.

Supervisory responsibilities

  • Yes; 2 direct reports

Office setting -- On-site in Chandler

Physical demands

  • Able to lift at least 15 lbs.
  • Able to sit for long periods (at least 50%)
  • Able to type and do computer work for long periods

Travel Requirements

  • Some interoffice travel may be required with use of company vehicle or mileage reimbursement
