Academic & Research Excellence
- PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related discipline, or an equivalent research record with strong publications.
- Demonstrated research impact, ideally supported by several hundred citations (400+ as a strong benchmark).
Top-Tier Publication Record
- Steady history of publications at leading AI/ML conferences: NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI.
- And/or at NLP-focused venues: ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING.
- Additional contributions in journals such as JMLR, TMLR, TPAMI.
Deep Expertise in Agentic AI and Related Fields
- Recent contributions in autonomous agents, planning, tool use, or multi-agent systems.
- Highly desirable expertise includes:
- Large Models (LLMs)
- Retrieval-Augmented (RAG)
- Vision- Models (VLMs)
- Reinforcement Learning (RL)
- LLM Alignment & Safety
Technical & Leadership Skills
- Strong theoretical and conceptual foundation, with the ability to guide teams through complex scientific challenges.
- Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) for rapid prototyping and collaboration.
