Founding Investment Engineer

Goal: Build the future of wealth technology and investment optimization.

We're partnering with an ambitious, venture-backed firm building a next- platform for ultra-high-net-worth clients. The team is creating sophisticated wealth infrastructure that models assets, entities, contracts, and financial relationships to drive advanced investment optimization, portfolio management, and tax-efficient decision-making.

This is a rare opportunity to join as a Founding Investment Engineer, helping to build the investment platform, optimization engine, and quantitative infrastructure from the ground up.

You'll work at the intersection of software engineering, quantitative finance, data infrastructure, and investment strategy in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

Work:

Build and scale investment and trading infrastructure

Develop optimization systems that identify tax-efficient investment opportunities

Design and maintain investment and wealth data models

Create data ingestion pipelines, security master systems, and simulation frameworks

Build backtesting and portfolio analysis capabilities

Partner closely with leadership to shape the long-term technology and investment roadmap

Contribute across cloud infrastructure, quantitative research, engineering, and data systems

What We're Looking For

• 3–10 years of experience in quantitative finance, investment technology, fintech, or related fields
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with a passion for solving complex optimization problems
• Experience building scalable infrastructure, data platforms, or quantitative systems
• Exposure to equities, fixed income, derivatives, or sophisticated investment products
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, simulations, or backtesting frameworks
• Comfortable operating in a startup environment with high ownership and autonomy
