DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Sales Representative will join Formulated Materials LLC, a division of Compellier out of Oklahoma City, OK. We are a building materials supplier and provider of innovative systems designed to elevate and advance the construction industry.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining critical relationships within a defined geographical region. This includes intentional, targeted focus on partnering with architects, project owners and contractors who concentrate on multi-family residential construction (both new and renovation). Key performance indicators include at least 2 architectural presentations monthly, securing 1 new customer, working through prospect lists and documenting activity in CRM. SR will collaborate closely with a Business Development Representative (BDR) – please note not all regions have a BDR in place although we plan to hire in the coming months. SR must be high-energy, confident, and motivated to take ownership of their territory, and to immerse themselves in all things multifamily construction related.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule, prepare & execute detailed, meaningful presentations and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with and manage Business Development Representative
- Build and deliver proposals, negotiate, and close new business
- Immerse yourself in our business and proactively seek out news and insights; become the subject matter expert
- Collaborate across different channels within the business
- Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 2 years of relevant sales experience ~OR~
- Associates Degree in any field and 4 years of relevant sales experience ~OR~
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 6 years of relevant sales experience
- Experience closing sales and achieving overall sales goals thru development and winning new business practices
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Overnight travel may be required
- Work-from-home capability required; approximately 50% travel
- Office environment
- Long periods of sitting and using a computer
