Forklift Operator / Production Manager

We are a second-, family-owned wood packaging manufacturer and pallet supplier with nearly 20 years of experience. Our mission is to provide top-quality products at a competitive price with unbeatable service. We are a trusted supplier of panel products and pallets in Elkhart, Indiana, and we are looking for a Forklift Operator / Production Manager to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with excellent forklift skills who is ready to grow into a leadership role. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift while learning the ins and outs of our production processes and management duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials and products.

• Load and unload trucks and help manage inventory.

• Assist with the production of pallets, crates, and custom wood products.

• Learn production management tasks, including scheduling, quality control, and team supervision.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator.

• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay is $19+ per hour, depending on forklift driving ability.
