Food Service Equipment Specialist

About the Role:

Anchor Restaurant Equipment & Supply is looking for a Food Service Equipment Specialist to join our team in an evolving role and provide expert knowledge on food service kitchen equipment and oversee equipment ordering and distribution. This role will report directly to the Senior Equipment Specialist and the General Manager to fulfill the following responsibilities:

·         Answer customer inquiries regarding equipment brand types, models, and distinct functionalities

·         Contact manufacture representatives to access helpful information for customer inquiries

·         Generate quotes and equipment purchase orders for customer requests

·         Arrange shipments and coordinate deliveries for equipment orders

·         Oversee the unloading, installation, and quality finish for all received shipments

Qualifications:

·         Advanced knowledge of Food Service Kitchen Equipment

·         3-5 years of experience with kitchen layouts and kitchen flow assessment

·         Capabilities in accessing online resources for information on product names, types, details, functionalities, and customer demand

·         Familiarity with generating quotes and purchase order forms for equipment orders

·         Fair knowledge of Auto Quotes and FES Software navigation and functionalities

·         4-6 years of experience in the food service industry as a Chef or Equipment Repair Tech is a plus

Position Type:

·         Full-time

Type of Hire:

·         Experienced (Relevant food service industry experience)

Travel:

·         This role will be based primarily in Jupiter, FL with the possibility of moving to Port St. Lucie, FL, if necessary, after 6 months. Location transfers will require prior approval from management.
