Responsibilities
· Strong support and involvement with SQF, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense, FSMA, and any other quality programs/initiatives updating and maintaining.
· Lead Document Control (Policies, Procedures, Working Instructions, Form/Records) and events including CAPAs. Assist in tracking and performing investigations for closure.
· Involvement with certification, and internal audits and assist with preparing responses.
· Assist in site-wide training on Quality and Food Safety as required.
· Perform monthly GMP, Glass & Brittle Plastics, Food Defense, Chemical Inventory audits. Communicate and follow up on audit findings
· Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures regarding employment, safety, quality, product safety and legality, security, and regulatory compliance as applicable.
Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:
· Proven experiences in Globl Food Safety initiative (GFSI): SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000, HACCP and Quality Management Systems. SQF Practitioner .
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP regulations.
· Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills combined with an aptitude for multi-tasking.
· Competent computer skills, including use of technology (scanners, tablets etc.) and Microsoft Office programs.
