Local seafood manufacturing company is looking for skilled overnight Machine Operators. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various machines to ensure production runs efficiently.

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

This is a great opportunity for a full time, evaluation to hire position with an established and growing company!

Shift: 1:00am-11:30am Monday-Thursday

Pay: $22.00ph

What you will be doing:

• Working in a production environment
• Monitor product to make sure it is coming out of the machine properly
• Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning, etc) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust the functions and settings of machines (e.g. speed)
• Feed material or parts into machines
• Inspect parts to ensure safety and function
• Test the operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift

What we are looking for:

• Experience as a Material Handler and Machine Operator
• Working knowledge of high speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc)
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
